Teen was found dead in B.C. care home days after reported missing, chiefs group saysA police investigation into the group-home death of a British Columbia teen has wrapped up without criminal charges, but several Indigenous organizations say more must be done. 😢 This doesn't sound right, if somebody's missing even if you're not looking in the closet for them, you might look in the closet to see if they've taken their clothes or if there's some note or something in one of their pockets or a receipt of some kind this is b*******. Well....if this troubled teen had had any sort of decent upbringing by his 'caregivers' he wouldn't have been in the home in the 1st place. Indigenous leaders need to look within for solutions instead of blaming others.

Why did B.C. have far fewer COVID-19 deaths in long-term care than Ont.? Study credits funding, policyA new study says quicker, more decisive action against COVID-19 in British Columbia is one of the reasons the province has suffered far fewer long-term care deaths than Ontario. It's also why BC has had few deaths overall as well over 80% of Canadian covid deaths are from LTC. Made sense to put restrictions on everyone else rather than concentrate energy on these places. Better long term care would be my guess. 'privatization,' The Conservative ideology of privatization is gradually destroying us 😖
