TORONTO -- Fears are mounting among doctors about the possibility of a so-called ‘twindemic’ consisting of duelling flu and coronavirus outbreaks. They are concerned they won’t be able to administer enough flu vaccinations and ease the burden on the health-care system.
Hamat’s advice is expected to be loudly echoed by public health campaigns across the country urging Canadians to get their flu shot this year amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. For example, in Australia, which is just coming out of its winter flu season, rates of influenza have been down in comparison to previous years.
The good news in Australia bodes well for Canada and other countries in the Northern Hemisphere where scientists often look to southern countries and their experience with the flu for clues as to what will happen during the upcoming fall and winter. “I feel very worried that the number of kids who need to get vaccinated are not going to be able to be properly vaccinated in a timely manner,” he said.

South America proved Twindemic wrong. With the March lockdown and end of Air travel during their flu season they had ZERO Influenza outbreaks. Too bad we have too much air travel to stop spread.

We’re just coming out of flu season in Australia, and it’s been great. Everyone was so worried about the same, but reports indicate way less numbers and it’s been speculated all the social distancing, increased handwashing, etc really helped to limit the spread of flu this year.
If you have some sense, you as a news organization should cover the idea that even with a COVID vaccine, only 50 percent will take it. Look at the flu vaccine, only 48 percent of people take it. Now compound that idea lack transparency and well here we are 😉.
Covidiots, meanwhile, are still concerned about only themselves.

Headlines should just read, Doctors worried about CCPV19 Pandemic as H1N1 Influenza Pandemic Season approaches. Don't worry this gives opportunity to label all influenza as covid-19 deaths. Push that fear narrative!
