Once the hottest of summer weather hits, multiplexes become even more packed than usual with ear-splitting, eye-popping comic-book blockbusters and otherHot Docs is the soothing superhero we need, providing brief respite for movie lovers in search of a more chill cinema experience — and a little R&R.

The films are scheduled on Sundays to help you recharge for the week ahead, and you’re encouraged to bring a pillow, grab a tea and get comfy; each screening also includes a guided meditation from Toronto mindfulness teacher Moustafa Abdelrahman.
