The space is part of the Rivermark Apartments on Columbus Boulevard, which took the place of Festival Pier. The Lucky Duck was part of the build out that includes a Sprouts Grocery store and the residential space. The Lucky Duck has a tavern atmosphere with a wall of windows that overlook the river. The setting includes a nook for darts, a claw machine with rubber ducks and a pizza window for late night slices after the kitchen closes. The indoor space includes nearly 70 seats and will be complemented by patio seating that will double to occupancy of the eatery.is a weekly pasta party hosted by Natalia Lepore Hagan at Building 39 of the Frankford Arsenal. Guests will make their own pasta and then enjoy a 5-course dinner featuring the pasta they just made. Natalia launched the business two years ago. She spent years working on Broadway as an actress touring the country. Her second act provides a new stage where she can entertain the masses.Natalia teaches a 45-minute pasta making session where she teaches two shapes of pasta. The pasta is collected and then cooked into a 5-course meal that includes farm-to-table offerings created by Chef Chelsea. The evening is meant to bring people together in a party-like setting. Expect music, dancing and a family style meal. There are classes open to the public and private classes available for booking.is named after Mason Lesser's grandmother and his mother, who were both named Marina. Lesser is a 25-year-old Villanova native, a former pro surfer, and an entrepreneur running the new quick-service pizza shop in the hottest restaurant corridor in Fishtown.Mason's grandfather had over 50 pizza shops and restaurants around the country, and Mason grew up working there when he was younger.Flavor varieties of slices and whole pies include everything from pesto with vodka sauce, to a white pizza with fresh lemons. Menu items also include steaks and salads. The shop opens every day at 11:00am, and stays open until 2:00am on weekends. The 10-mile Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run returns for another year. They also have ways for runners who might be interested in next year's race to get ready.The two friends encourage creativity at their store by focusing on craft items, gifts, and drawing and painting mediums. While they offer an array of art supplies, there is also a studio downstairs where they host free art workshops called Thursday Night Art Club. The owners are both alumni of The Tyler School of Art, but became friends at design agency Blue Cadet. After leaving the agency, the two reconnected during the pandemic to pursue their dreams of opening an art store. In March 2025, the two opened the doors to Freehand Supply and are excited to provide art materials to fine arts and hobbyists in the Fishtown Neighborhood.Opened in 1904, the Grand Dame of Broad Street blends European-inspired, chateau-esque architecture with stories of presidents, politics, and power.
