The video shows a train driver struggling to handle a twisted track on the Sydney to Melbourne train line, the same line an XPT was on when it derailed on Thursday, leaving two people dead and another 11 injured. In the footage, the train is seen jolting from side-to-side with the driver saying passengers would be tossed around if he traveled at the recommended medium speed limit.
