During the operation, police allegedly seized 19 firearms, 672 rounds of ammunition and nearly $100,000 cash.A two-day police operation targeted ongoing crime activities between the Alameddine and Hamze networks.The next day, a police chase in Bondi ended with two arrests and homes searched, allegedly uncovering almost $4 million worth of the drug ice.
With many of the families' leaders either dead or behind bars, the sting focused on some 300 known associates. Officers seized a variety of prohibited drugs including methylamphetamine , MDMA, gamma-hydroxybutyrate and cannabis, with a combined estimated potential street value of more than $1.2 million.
