A passenger has described the moment the aircraft slid off the tarmac in New Zealand as "so scary".
Emergency services were notified of a plane sliding off a runway at Christchurch Airport, on the South Island, about 7.45am on Friday.Donald Trump guilty in hush money trialPassenger Diana Clement on Jetstar flight JQ225 said the plane came to a stop half on the runway and half on the grass today.
The terminal remained open throughout the morning. The airfield was closed to aircraft until the crosswind runway reopened at 9am.
