It’s official! New Super Netball team’s name and colours revealed as excitement grows
, the team will be based in Melbourne’s south-east and owned by Craig Hutchison’s Sports Entertainment Network .The team’s journey has now taken its next important step as fans know the identity of who they will support next season.
The Mavericks will take the place of Collingwood in Super Netball after they handed back their licence earlier this year. Former West Coast Fever and Collingwood star Shae Bolton-Brown, who is the Mavericks’ General Manager of Netball Operations, insists the team name is all about being intelligent when “venturing into uncharted territory.”Shae Bolton-Brown, General Manager, Netball Operations Of Melbourne Mavericks, the 8th franchise that will replace Collingwood Magpies in the 2024 competition.
