A Cache Valley Transit Department bus driver has been arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in a Walmart parking lot and leaving a note apologizing for the incident.

North Park Police have arrested a Cache Valley Transit Department bus driver , Steven Kenneth Naegle, 56, after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman. The incident occurred on January 16th between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. in the North Logan Walmart parking lot. According to court documents obtained by FOX 13 News, the victim was sitting in her parked car with her son when Naegle approached her vehicle.

He first shook the passenger side of the car before walking to the driver's side window, which was open, and grabbing the victim's breast. The victim reported that Naegle engaged in conversation with her for several minutes before returning to his bus and driving away. Days later, on January 22nd, the victim discovered a note on her windshield reading, 'I'm Sorry! Please don't get me fired.' The note also included a frowning face emoji. The victim stated that Naegle left the note sometime between 7:10 a.m. and 8:02 a.m. on January 22nd. She noticed Naegle's bus parked near her while getting ready for work and observed him driving it to the Walmart gas station, where he waited for a period before leaving. Investigators reviewed security footage from Walmart, which corroborated the victim's account. Naegle was arrested by North Park Police on Wednesday and is currently facing charges of sexual battery and stalking
