The opportunity to lead the YWCA USA, at this point in our nation’s history, offers a unique chance to shape the discussion, advocate for key policy issues and help design innovative programs and initiatives that will ensure that women and girls are well positioned to leverage new and innovative opportunities in a 21Century society and economy.
I look at YWCA as a pipeline. What I want to do is make sure it does not leak; it needs to be a continuum of talent, as well as a continuous flow of information that will inform and direct women to advocate for issues that impact their lives.
