A key witness for prosecutors in the long-running trial of rapper Young Thug may testify again when the jury returns on Monday, the judge ruled this week.Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Williams, is accused of violating Georgia's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, which punishes offenders working under a criminal organization. Prosecutors allege Williams is a founding member of Young Slime Life, a violent street gang in Atlanta.
When asked how paid for his hotel in Miami, Copeland said, 'I guess Young Thug did, I don't know.' Copeland said he initially asked for Williams' help because 'everybody' was blaming him for Thomas' death.Copeland's former lawyer Kayla Bumpus testified in court on Monday about what was discussed at the meeting with Glanville. She said Thomas' murder was a topic of conversation.
