The Young Professionals of Parma was founded with the idea of supporting the next generation of business leaders and community members in the city.
It’s the former group that’s the target of the nonprofit’s quarterly “ Parma ’s Extraordinary People talks” series.
Over the last year, “PEP talks” have featured the likes of Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus President Lisa Williams, Sloppy Bobs and Last Stop Inn owner Kelly Lasecki and, most recently, Cleveland Metroparks Chief Executive Officer Brian Zimmerman. The next “PEP talks” event -- with participation limited to only eight Young Professionals of Parma members -- is scheduled for 6 p.m. May 23 at Twisted Taino.
