At the Outdoor Championships in Des Moines, the Tinman Elite runners are nervous, and with good reason. This is the most important American meet of the year and the biggest competition of their running lives to date. It determines the qualifiers for the World Championships in Doha, Qatar, in September.Sam and another Tinman Elite runner, Jordan Gusman, run for Germany and Australia, respectively. Both have already qualified for the World Championships.
