Netflix releases a new trailer for Woman of the Hour, the new thriller movie directed by and starring Pitch Perfect's Anna Kendrick.
“The stranger-than-fiction story of an aspiring actress in 1970s Los Angeles and a serial killer in the midst of a yearslong murder spree, whose lives intersect when they’re cast on an episode of The Dating Game,” the logline for the movie reads.Kendrick is making her feature film directorial debut with Woman of the Hour. She’s known for playing Jessica Stanley in the Twilight films and Beca Mitchell in the Pitch Perfect franchise.
The script was written by Ian McDonald. McDonald and Kendrick both serve as executive producers on the movie alongside Stuart Ford, Zach Garrett, Miguel A. Palos, Jr., Joe Penna, Matthew Helderman, Luke Taylor, Paul Barbeau, Sean Patrick O’Reilly, Andrew Deane, and Stephen Crawford. Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, J.D. Lifshitz, and Raphael Margules serve as producers.
