A woman was killed late Thursday in an auto-pedestrian crash on the west side of Houston, police said. A white Toyota Tundra around 10:25 p.m. was driving in the 2700 block of State Highway 6 N when it struck a woman who had been walking in the right lane of the road, the Houston Police Department told On Scene reporters.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver remained at the scene and was interviewed by police. No charges have been filed.
