A woman was arrested in the March 15 deadly shooting at a public Fort Worth park. She is one of two suspects facing a murder charge in the slaying.
Abigail Castaneda, 19, was arrested Thursday afternoon and faces a murder charge, according to city jail records. It was unclear whether she had an attorney.The report number listed with Castaneda’s arrest matches the case number listed in Tarrant County medical examiner records forOfficers responded about 2:15 a.m. March 15 to the 2200 block of McCandless Street near Rosen Park and found Cardenas, who was injured, police said at the time. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Harris was jailed in March by the Tarrant County sheriff’s office on two unrelated aggravated robbery charges and the murder charge, brought by Fort Worth police, was filed April 3, jail records show.
