Disney+ has decided to cancel Lucasfilm's fantasy comedy-drama series Willow, which featured Warwick Davis' return as the titular warlock.
series came from showrunners Jonathan Kasdan and Wendy Mericle. Joining Warwick Davis was Ellie Bamber as Elora Danan, Ruby Cruz as Kit Tanthalos, Erin Kellyman as Jade, Tony Revolori as Graydon, Amar Chadha-Patel as Boorman, Dempsey Bryk as Airk, and Joanne Whalley as Queen Sorsha.
“The story began when an aspiring sorcerer is whisked away on a journey to protect an infant empress Elora Danan and vanquish the evil Queen Bavmorda from their world of Andowyne,” reads the synopsis. “Now, the story continues with Davis reprising his titular role, as he leads an unlikely crew of heroes on a quest to protect Andowyne from an even larger foe than they had imagined possible.
