In an Instagram post dated June 21, his team told fans, 'We regret to inform you that Willie Nelson is not feeling well and, per doctor's orders, has been advised to rest for the next four days. He is expected to make a quick recovery and join the Outlaw Music Festival tour next week.
On July 4, the 'Always on My Mind' singer made his return to the stage for Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic in Camden, New Jersey. His official Instagram account shared a video of him walking onto the stage with his son, Lukas, with the caption, 'He’s bbaaacccckkkkk.'Fans were thrilled to see Willie back in his element, and left messages of support:'It sure as hell takes a lot these days, but that did it.
