Another talented photographer has died at the hands of Russian aggression in Ukraine.

Denis Krivoy was a nature photographer from Ukraine who died in Bakhmut while bravely attempting to rescue his wounded comrades.and after Russia invaded Ukraine in the spring of 2022 he expressed a desire to serve his country.“I learned that I have lost the best and most important person for me. My husband. My friend. My sunshine. The best father of two little girls,” she writes.

“Denny is gone. He died in Bakhmut. Trying to save his wounded comrades. Hero and protector. He always did everything and more and still thought it was not enough. He chose his path voluntarily and walked it with honor. Let us remember him!”Featured in National Geographic Ukraine, held a blue FIAP ribbon.
