Even easier: it’s where he met his long-term girlfriend, who is a local, and he can return to frequenting his two favorite breakfast spots: Sweet Maple, with locations around the Bay, and Devil’s Teeth Bakery, in the Sunset. But, according to Manaea, the realization he had as a tough season drew to a close was, in fact, a long time coming.
