After four years at the helm and, buoyed by a GM drafting and signing players to fit the mold Stefanski creates, we know what a Stefanski team looks like. We know the types of players he values and it’s not hard to see, as players parrot his talking points, how Stefanski has put his stamp on this team.
On the one hand, creating a baseline where even a bad season means a near-.500 record and remaining in playoff contention into mid-December is a good thing, the other is the reality that winning one playoff game in four seasons isn’t the goal. Still, it would be disappointing if the Browns are unable to take advantage of this window featuring a player they believe can still be a franchise quarterback, a Defensive Player of the Year in Myles Garrett and a roster getting paid like one expecting to win and win now.
