Pesto the baby King penguin has broken the record for the largest chick at an aquarium in Australia
MELBOURNE, Australia – A baby King penguin in Australia has stolen the hearts of people all over the world because of his gigantic size.
At just nine months old, Pesto tips the scales at a whopping 21 kg, or 46 lbs., making him the largest chickand Instagram are sharing videos of them traveling from around the world to get a look at the huge baby animal.the aquarium said online. He made his debut in front of crowds at the aquarium in April. Earlier in September, the aquarium held a gender reveal party for Pesto, announcing whether the penguin was a boy or girl. The aquariumThousands of people have become intrigued with the penguin, leaving comments on the aquarium’s Instagram asking why he weighs so much.“Firstly, his biological dad, Blake, is our biggest and oldest penguin. Secondly, he’s had amazing parents raising him,” the aquarium said.
