So, the show could do better where diversity is concerned, and giving Robin a girlfriend would help.
Robin's Stranger Things Love Interest Doesn't Have To Outshine Her Friendships While Maya Hawke may have mixed feelings about Robin getting a girlfriend, and some fans feel there will be too much to wrap up in season 5 to give Robin a love interest, her relationship doesn’t have to overshadow her friendships. For example, while there was tension in the Party because of Max and Eleven, the girls are also part of the group and play an integral role in overcoming their enemies.
