Sunday's free event will include lawn games, face painting, food trucks, live music and ticket giveaways to White River State Park attractions.is hoping school can be made easier for teachers with students who may not be able to afford items this year with a back-to-school supply drive at White River State Park.

"We started the back-to-school drive last year and experienced great success, so we are glad to bring this community event back again this year," said Jake Oakman, executive director of White River State Park."Supporting Teachers’ Treasures and the important work they do to assist area educators and students is a great way for us to kick off back-to-school season in central Indiana.

On Sunday, July 21 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Celebration Plaza, the park will gather hundreds of supplies for Teachers' Treasures, an organization that delivers donated school supplies free to teachers all throughout Marion County.The event will include lawn games, face painting, food trucks, live music and ticket giveaways to White River State Park attractions. for a list of back-to-school supply drives in Indianapolis where families can pick up school supplies for their kids.
