When it comes to remakes, you need to do more than redo the movie shot-for-shot. Disney has been doing a lot of remakes in the last couple of years, but that is mostly focused on making live-action remakes of the animated features. They are also greenlighting way after-the-fact sequels and series to classics as well, butwanted to do something a little different.

It remains to be seen whether or not this film can make any impact when it hits Hulu this weekend and if changes that directorthe initial spirit behind the production.
