Republicans had long foreshadowed plans to turn up the heat on Hunter Biden, and now that they've retaken the House, that endeavor is beginning to take shape. Rep. James Comer , who is expected to become the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, recently claimed that President Joe Biden was involved in his son's overseas business dealings.
Last month, the Washington Post reported that federal officials believe they accumulated sufficient evidence to impose criminal charges against him for various tax offenses and a false statement about a gun purchase.
