While it’s the cheapest model, the Model Y Long Range RWD has a lot going for it and is actually the model that many prospective buyers should go for. The Tesla Model Y Long Range RWD costs $44,990. However, it does qualify for the full $7,500 federal tax credit, which will bring the price down to $37,490.

The Model Y Long Range AWD is a little more expensive than the base model, coming in at $47,990 at the time of this writing. Essentially, it’s $3,000 more than the base Model Y — however, it does also qualify for the $7,500 federal tax credit, which will bring the price down to $40,490.
