The vampire comedy's last round of episodes—coming October 21—will include several cinematic homages, from the sounds of it.
will return for its sixth and final season this October 21—and it sounds like FX’s hit vampire comedy is going to end on a very high note., “We had a lot of conversations about how we wanted to handle it, and the main thing that we all agreed on was that we did not want to do a,’ serious final season. We just concentrated on being funny. I finished editing three of the episodes and I think it’s one of our best seasons yet.
In the sixth and final season of the Emmy-nominated comedy, Nandor, Nadja, Laszlo, Colin, and Guillermo will enter the workforce, visit New Hampshire, go to a human dinner party, fête the Baron, and conjure a demon—all while trying to find their place and their purpose in this crazy, mixed-up world.”
Further episodes will see Laszlo hypnotize his housemates to become his personal slaves, while another is said to focus on Colin building his own friend/familiar. Simms also teases an appearance from Laszlo’s ghostly father, who will be played by a currently undisclosed actor. “In past seasons we focus so much on people who’ve played vampires before. This season, our main goal was to use our favorite, funniest people that for five years we’ve wanted to use,” Simms explains.
