Here are some places in North Texas that will resume business on Tuesday.
All U.S. Postal Service retail sites are closed and there won’t be residential or business mail delivery in observance of Veteran’s Day. The federal holiday honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces also means that some places across Dallas-Fort Worth will be closed on Monday.A laminated card attached to one of over 1,000 American flags honors a member of the US Army for their service and sacrifice during the annual Flags of Honor event held every Veterans Day weekend.
However, private shippers will still be running Monday. Amazon, and most FedEx and UPS services and stores are unaffected by the holiday.The holiday is affecting financial institutions in different ways. Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Citibank and TD Bank branches are closed on Monday in observance of the holiday, as well Federal Reserve banks.Major retailers such as Walmart and Target remain open on Monday.
