David Petkiewicz, cleveland.comSpeaking at Big Ten Media Days on Thursday, Moore dove into his reasoning for hiring Alford along with former Ohio State recruiting staffer Erin Dunston.
“He’s a hell of a recruiter, but even more than that, he’s a hell of a coach and a hell of a person to get to know,” Edwards added. “I really look up to him a lot.” Alford spoke this offseason about his departure, saying it was time for himself and for Ohio State to move in a different direction.
