Donald Trump is expected to face his first probation meeting on Monday after he was convicted of falsifying documents in his hush money trial.Trump, the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee, faced trial in New York City on 34 counts of falsifying business records for hush money payments made to adult film actor Stormy Daniels.On May 30, a jury convicted him on all 34 counts.Newsweek sought email comment from Trump's attorney on Monday.
Bannon, a former top Trump adviser, was convicted of contempt of Congress in 2022 after refusing to testify and provide documents to the Congressional January 6 committee. He was sentenced to four months in prison and has to report to prison by July 1, 2024.Lobbyist Roger Stone was jailed in 2020 for three years after a jury found that he had lied to authorities investigating alleged Russian interference in U.S elections, among other crimes.
