West Valley City Police confirmed that a man shot to death was victim of a homicide, killed while visiting an acquaintance in the area.
Police on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024, respond to a call of shots fired in West Valley City, Utah, where officers were alerted to the body of a man who was apparently shot to death. On Wednesday, police said they had identified the man as a non-Utah resident, but were having difficulty finding the man's family.Police responded to the scene at approximately 9:35 p.m. when they were flagged down by a citizen, who alerted them to the deceased individual.have not been released.
No arrests have been made. Police have not publicly named any suspects -- or confirmed if any suspects have been identified at all.WVCPD didn't say what that evidence was or how it indicated the man had been intentionally gunned down.
