Are the Seahawks going to at least be competitive against the Rams? Will Mike Macdonald’s defense do anything against Sean McVay’s offense?
Good morning and happy Sunday, Seattle Seahawks fans! We’re only a few hours away from the Seahawks’ latest installment of their rivalry with the Los Angeles Rams. I can tell everyone is thrilled to see this game, and by “everyone” I mean Rams fans. The highs of the win over the Atlanta Falcons were offset by the scary incompetence against the Buffalo Bills. Even though the Rams are surging, they’re theoretically not as good as the Bills.
I’m working on the assumption that he will play, otherwise the Seahawks are super thin at linebacker. Jones had his ups and downs in his Seahawks debut, but he looks like a sound tackler and one of his best abilities is to get after the quarterback on the blitz. The Seahawks have been one of the league’s worst blitzing teams this season, and I’m admittedly worried that Stafford could rip Seattle apart when Mike Macdonald sends an extra rusher, but one of them has to get home.
