This mother-daughter duo makes cute works of art out of pebbles found on the beach.
Like many folks, Mary Borrello-Cerreta comes to Sandy Hook Beach regularly to enjoy the sun, sand and surf. But this Bayonne resident stumbled onto a new passion of creating pebble art during one of her trips with her daughter Catherine.
Mary’s ritual started four years ago after the retired school teacher was diagnosed with breast cancer following a routine mammogram. As with many survivors, early detection saved her life.
