with our everyday lives. That’s why Wesley Kagan created the V12 masterpiece you see here. What makes it really special though is that not only does he talk us through how to build it ourselves, but he’s actually selling this exact example.

If that name, Wesley Kagan sounds familiar to you, that’s probably because we’ve featured him before. Years ago he created a Harbor Freight engine blended with Koenigsegg Freevalve technology. Then he did the same thing againHe’s also built himself a 1960s-esque race car and is in the process of dropping a V12 into it.

So it just so happens that he has a spare V12 laying around and so he decided to make it the central structure of a coffee table. What’s more interesting though is that he decided to keep the pistons in the block and to add an electric motor to make them move while the coffee table just sits there. The entire process is documented in Kagan’s self-named YouTube channel.

He also utilized 3D-printed parts for the engine mounting supports. Those mate up to hand-built and finished oak pieces. Atop the block is another bit of oak that hold the glass table top. It’s not a project for everybody but if you’ve ever considered something similar, the video demonstrates the entire process.
