The Washington Commanders will look for a new president after the 2024 season, as Jason Wright is set to exit the team after the 2024 season.
The Washington Commanders went through a significant rebrand in 2022, changing the name from the then-Washington Redskins, to the Commanders. After his professional career, Wright transitioned to business, attending the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he secured his MBA in operations and finance in 2013. Wright would become a consultant for McKinsey & Company and served on the board of trustees for the Union Theological Seminary.In 2020, the Commanders hired Wright to serve as president, making him the first Black president in the NFL.
