Jordan Poole was called for three discontinued dribbles Tuesday night.
MIAMI — The Warriors feel Jordan Poole might’ve been made an example of Tuesday night just hours after the league sent out a memo about cracking down on carries.
One of those turnovers was an inbound pass in the game’s final nine seconds that he sent flying into the crowd across the court. Three of the other four he was called for a “discontinued dribble,” more commonly known as a carry. Coach Steve Kerr said he was surprised by the calls, noting that most of the league is guilty of it. He said he missed the league-wide email sent Tuesday before the game notifying teams and personnel of the added attention to the dribbling violations.
