Any overpayments due to fraud or error may have to be repaid.
More than six million people are set to receive a one-off £150 cost of living payment from the Department for Work and Pensions. The payments will be made automatically to people claiming a number of benefits.
People who are eligible for the £150 payment will receive the money between Tuesday, June 20 and Tuesday, July 4. Nobody needs to apply for the extra financial support.
