Adkinson also addressed the spread of unconfirmed information online. When asked for updates on the victims, he stated: “I actually do not have any updates. In fact, I wouldn’t trust what I would’ve heard because again, it’s anecdotal. I’ve seen people put stuff out that said they’re friends of the family or they’re putting stuff out that alleges to be from the family.
