With Election Day just weeks away, Arizona is seeing campaign stop after campaign stop as parties try to drum up votes in the swing state.
Vice President Kamala Harris and First lady Jill Biden 's visits to the Grand Canyon State will be prefaced by visits from Ohio Sen. JD Vance and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz .Donald Trump Jr. was expected to visit this week as well but had to cancel due to Hurricane Milton.Vance will be speaking at a Conservative Political Action Conference townhall in Mesa on Wednesday, Oct. 9.On the same day, Walz will be at a couple of events across the Phoenix area.
He's expected to participate in a Chandler event for veterans, and then an event for the Gila River Indian Community.VP Kamala Harris will be in Arizona on Friday, Oct. 11, at a location that hasn't been released yet.The first lady will arrive in Yuma on Oct. 11 where she will participate in a campaign event, the White House announced. Biden will then travel to Phoenix where she will appear at an event on Saturday. No further details on the first lady's visits have been announced.
