Powdered collagen, collagen shots, and collagen waters have exploded in popularity over the last few years. You've probably heard all about how almost daily , and it's currently on sale for a fraction of its normal cost — 31 percent off, to be precise.

Each two-scoop serving is just 70 calories and has 18 grams of protein and 20 grams of collagen peptides. This powder is also flavorless, so I can add it to pretty much anything and can't taste it. Depending on how much protein I need, I add one or two scoops to coffee, soups,, oatmeal, or smoothies. Although Vital Proteins claims this powder can be mixed into hot and cold liquids, I find it blends easier in warm temps, which is why I often add it to hot veggie soup or warmed pasta sauce.
