About 90 minutes after making landfall Wednesday night, Milton was centered about 20 miles northeast of Sarasota and had weakened to a Category 2 hurricane, with maximum sustained winds of 110 miles-per-hour. The weather service said Boca Grande, Florida, could see a surge as high as 13 feet above ground if it hits at the same time as high tide
