ViacomCBS International Studios has launched a unified sales arm, ViacomCBS International Studios Distribution, which 'will play an integral part in supporting ViacomCBS’ larger studio and media networks businesses.' More details:
Lauren Marriott and Laura Burrell will run the new ViacomCBS International Studios Distribution, which"will play an integral part in supporting ViacomCBS’ larger studio and media networks businesses."
It will be overseen by Lauren Marriott, who has been named senior vp of sales & business operations and distribution lead for the U.K., and Laura Burrell, who will serve as vp, international formats, effective immediately. Marriott will report to Pierluigi Gazzolo, president, studios and streaming at ViacomCBS Networks International, and Arran Tindall, chief commercial officer and executive vp, commercial & content distribution at the international networks operation. Burrell will report to Kate Laffey, vp at VIS.
Burrell, who joined ViacomCBS in 2009, will oversee the continued growth of format libraries and focus on increasing revenue from third-party format sales, co-productions and pre-sales.
