Firefighters are battling a 100-acre vegetation fire that started Wednesday afternoon in Brentwood, officials said.
Cal Fire was dispatched at 3:20 p.m. to the area of Empire Mine Road and Deer Valley Road, where the fire was initially reported to have burned 50 acres, according to Cal Fire.
