The plaintiff claims she wasn't warned in enough time before she ate food contaminated by a DoorDash driver in Arizona.MARICOPA COUNTY, Ariz. — A Maricopa County woman is suing DoorDash after she allegedly consumed food that had been contaminated by bodily fluids, court records show.
According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff placed an order at a local Filiberto's restaurant. After the DoorDash driver picked up the order, a Filiberto's employee claimed to have witnessed the driver park their car and masturbate onto the food order. It allegedly took DoorDash about 40 minutes to respond. And by the time they did, it was too late and the plaintiff had already eaten the food.
DoorDash says it prohibits food tampering of any kind and its drivers must agree to follow policies barring such behavior.
