Valley Christian High players celebrate their 4-3 WCAL championship win over Serra High at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, Calif., on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Valley Christian was trailing Serra 2-0 entering the bottom of the fourth. Brock Ketelsen lined a two-run double to tie the score and Muccilli stepped to the plate with two out and Ketelsen on second.“Rounding the bases I was pretty excited,” Muccilli said. “It was a fastball inside.
