Owen McCown and Eddie Lee Marburger are competing for the opportunity to follow Frank Harris as the Roadrunners' new No. 1 quarterback.
Before UTSA even steps on the field for its first practice of the fall, coach Jeff Traylor is already finding creative ways to sidestep questions about the Roadrunners’ starting quarterback. Asked this week at the American Athletic Conference ’s media kickoff about his timetable for naming a No. 1 signal-caller, Traylor joked that Owen McCown and Eddie Lee Marburger could line up side by side for the first snap of Week 1.
