Booker-Brown and Roadrunners teammate Corey Lucius were arrested this month on two counts each of aggravated robbery connected to an incident in February.
UTSA football player Nick Booker-Brown brandished a firearm as he and teammate Corey Lucius confronted two people and entered their vehicle in search of a stolen PlayStation 5, arrest warrants show. The Feb. 3 incident led to Booker-Brown's arrest June 13 and Lucius’ arrest four days later on two counts each of aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony.
Booker-Brown approached and asked the tow truck driver to stop, and his mother told the responding San Antonio police officer the driver “ran over her son, did not stop, and left the location.” Reviewing security footage, the San Antonio police officer wrote that Booker-Brown ran into the street toward the front of the tow truck and put his hands on the hood “appearing to try and stop it.
