Another unidentified flying object in North America has been shot down, this one over Canada.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated on Saturday that he ordered the take down of an unidentified object that"violated Canadian airspace." The North American Aerospace Defense Command shot down the object using a U.S. F-22, according to a statement Trudeau made on social media."I spoke with President Biden this afternoon," Trudeau's statement read."Canadian Forces will now recover and analyze the wreckage of the object.
“While we cannot discuss specifics related to these activities at this time, please note that NORAD conducts sustained, dispersed operations in the defence of North America through one or all three NORAD regions,” said Major Olivier Gallant, a spokesperson for NORAD. The report of the flying object over Canada comes shortly after the United States shot down two objects flying over the U.S., one of which was a Chinese spy balloon. The most recent object shot down was in Alaska on Friday, though it has yet to be confirmed if that was also a Chinese spy balloon.
