Plano-based Granite Properties and North Carolina real estate investor Highwoods Properties teamed up to buy the McKinney & Olive high-rise in Uptown Dallas.
that is under construction across from The Crescent on Cedar Springs Road.
Along with McKinney & Olive and 23Springs, Granite Properties and Highwoods are also in a joint venture to build the 19-story, 422,000-square-footHighwoods contributed about $130 million toward those two developments. The McKinney & Olive purchase is a major move by the company to expand its investment in the Texas market.
